Trips to the dentist don't top my list of fun things to do, but I'm skipping over a lot of closer options and making the longer commute the Ankeny Family Dental Center because of the Dr. Lensch, Dr. Gelfond and their staff. I'd highly recommend them to anyone!

Great practice! Dentists are personable, professional and thorough. In a routine exam Dr. Lensch found what turned out to be stage one lymphoma on my neck. Found early, this cancer has a very high cure rate. I'm very grateful they routinely examine the neck as part of your regular visit.

Staff is really friendly and helpful. Found appointments for my difficult schedule and checked preauthorization for my insurance too. Dr Gelfond took the time to do the job right and with as little discomfort as possible. Still need to return for the final crowning but so far he has found and corrected each problem tooth.
