Meet Dr. Lensch
Dr. Lensch grew up in Urbandale, Iowa. He graduated from Urbandale High School in 1990. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology, and a minor in Chemistry from Truman State University. He obtained his doctorate from The University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1999. Because he loved growing up in central Iowa, he quickly accepted when the opportunity came up to practice in Ankeny.
Dr. Lensch lives in Ankeny with his wife, two daughters, and two dogs. His hobbies include drumming in his church praise team, playing games, going to the movies, watching his girls sporting events, hunting, fishing, and target shooting. He enjoyed coaching and mentoring students in the Ankeny Marching Hawks drumline, and has been working with the ACHS drumline. This will be his sixteenth year helping the band.
Professional affiliations include: The Iowa Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Ankeny Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Lensch’s practice philosophy can be summarized quite simply: “Do unto others as you would have them do to you.” It is his goal to create relationships with patients, and to take the time necessary to teach and discuss their dental health needs in an informative, caring, and compassionate way.
